Data Publica (http://www.data-publica.com ) is a startup providning a web portal for open data which can be public, private, free or charged. We collaborate with Data Publica though our WebSmatch technology on technologies for automatic schema extraction and matching from high numbers of data sources. A first contribution has been the development of an Excel extraction component based on machine learning techniques.
